Emily Ross is the author of Half in Love with Death, a young adult novel inspired by a true crime from the 1960s. Half in Love with Death was named a finalist in the International Thriller Writers 2016 Thriller Awards. Emily received a 2014 Massachusetts Cultural Council finalist award in fiction and is an editor and contributor at Dead Darlings. Her short fiction and non-fiction have been published in Boston Magazine, Yarn (Young Adult Review Network), and Menda City Review. She is a graduate of Grub Street's Novel Incubator program and a member of Mystery Writers of America, Sisters in Crime, and International Thriller Writers.
