I am an expert in applying complexity science to healthcare. By training and practice I am a neonatologist (takes care of sick babies), studied patient safety and systems engineering, yet I could not understand how my dead daughter received 30 hours of futile care in my own hospital. I sought out leaders in resilience engineering and found Patient Safety 2.0- managing complexity.
