Sari Edelstein is an associate professor of English at University of Massachusetts, Boston, where she teaches courses in US literature and culture. She is the author of Between the Novel and the News: The Emergence of American Women’s Writing and is currently at work on a book about age and maturity in nineteenth-century American literature.
