Celeste Ng

Celeste Ng is the author of the book that took 2014 by storm, Everything I Never Told You, which tells the story of an Asian American family dealing with the fallout from the death of their beloved middle daughter. The novel was the recipient of the Massachusetts Book Award, the Medici Book Club Prize, the ALA’s Alex Award, and an Asian/Pacific American Award for Literature, and it was named a 2014 New York Times Notable Book. Ng has received a Pushcart Prize and a National Endowment for the Arts fellowship. Ng has a BA from Harvard University and an MFA from Michigan University. She has taught writing at GrubStreet. Her newest book is Little Fires Everywhere, which centers on a young mother and her adopted daughter who disrupt the status quo for their suburban Cleveland neighbors. In a starred review of Little Fires Everywhere, Kirkus calls Ng "a sensitive, insightful writer with a striking ability to illuminate life in America."
