Jackie C. Horne has been involved in publishing in a variety of capacities for more than thirty years. She's worked as a children's book editor, a book reviewer, a literary scholar, and an author of both academic books and historical romance novels (under the pen name Bliss Bennet). She is the creator of the blog Romance Novels for Feminists, where she muses about the intersections of gender and genre and reviews romance novels with a decidedly feminist bent. She is currently the president of the New England Chapter of Romance Writers of America.
